Pasquale "Jay" Muoio

August 25, 1954 — October 14, 2025

Pasquale "Jay" Muoio, 71, of Cumru Township, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Margaret A. (Hanna) Muoio.

Born in Comanche County, Oklahoma, Jay was the son of the late Pasquale V. Muoio and Catherine (Brown) Muoio. He attended Frankfurt High School and went on to serve his country with pride and honor in the United States Marine Corps.

Jay was a man who deeply cherished time spent with his family. He had a passion for the outdoors and found joy in hunting, fishing, and simply being surrounded by nature. A gifted carpenter, Jay had a remarkable talent for woodworking and took great pride in building and creating with his hands. Whether working on projects at home or lending a helping hand to friends and family, he did so with care, skill, and generosity.

Known for his infectious laugh and zest for life, Jay brought light and laughter wherever he went. He had a playful spirit, a love for music, and was never shy about breaking into song or dancing with joy.

Jay leaves behind his beloved wife, Margaret; his children: Pasquale J. Muoio and wife Elizabeth; Danny W. Muoio and his wife Melissa; Christina M. Muoio; and Monica C. Muoio. He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren: Devon, Kerrilyn, Madison, Dylan, Angel, Marco, and Matthew and siblings: Joe, Kathy, Anthony, Jude, and Dominick. He also leaves behind his fur-baby, Lady, who never left his side.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Jared Klein and brother Francis Muoio, who he now joins in eternal rest.

In keeping with Jay's wishes, a Ceremony of Life will be held on Saturday, October 25th at American Legion Post 355. Physical address is 850 Conshohocken State road, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004.

A short ceremony honoring Jay will start at 2 P.M. at which time friends and family members will be invited to share stories or memories of Jay with light food and refreshments to follow.

If you would like to send a gift in Jay's memory, flowers can be sent to Rick Trivane, 700 Yale Rd, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004 (please add instructions to leave on front porch, and the family would prefer something they could plant in Jay's memory versus cut flowers)

In keeping with Jay's love for dogs and hunting, and in lieu of flowers, donations to one of the following organizations would be greatly appreciated:

• Donate to Memorials and Honorarium Gifts https://give.berksarl.org/campaign/652302/donate

• Donate | NRA Foundation (https://www.nrafoundation.org/donate/)
