Pauline J. Axe, 88, of Reading, passed away October 15, 2015 in St. Joseph Medical Center.
She was the wife of Donald C. Axe, who passed away January 26, 2008.
Born in Reading, she was the daughter of the late Harry R. and Mabel (Glassmoyer) Hilbert.
Survivors include daughter Anna L. (Strunk) McLean, wife of Terry, Shoemakersville; two grandchildren Donald A. Pentland, Reading; Sheenaw Ann (Pentland) Weber, Wyomissing; 4 great grandchildren Zachary Seidel, Travis Slapkowski, Zara Slapkowski and Logan Weber.
Services will be held in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 North 9th Street, Reading, Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at 1:30pm. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends from 12:30-1:30pm.
