Persida Popescu

Persida P. Popescu, 33, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away November 25, 2010 at 7:15 am in The Reading Hospital & Medical Center. Born in Romania she was the daughter of Constantin Ciocan and Florenta Popescu. She was a graduate of Reading High School. In addition to her parents she is survived by her sons, Alexandru and Anthony David Popescu both at home. Also surviving is her fiance David Roman, siblings Stefan Cirimpei of Phoenix, AZ, George Cirimpei of Romania, Gabriel Cirimpei of Pittsburg, Maria Cirimpei of Reading and Ioana Ciocan at home. Services from Spring Valley Church of God Thursday at 1:00 pm. Rev. Robert E. Hinson officiating. Interment Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the church Thursday 11-1:00 pm.
