Richard Weitzel

Richard E. Weitzel, 74, of Kenhorst, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2019 at 2:15 pm in Reading Hospital.  Born in Reading he was the son of the late Edgar R. and Virginia R. (Stoyer) Weitzel.  He was an auto polisher for Baldwin Hardware for 31 years until his retirement.  Mr.Weitzel is survived by his brother Barry Weitzel of Muhlenberg Township and his sisters Joyce Solt of Reading and Beverly Shellenberger of Sinking Spring and was preceded in death by his brothers Edgar R. Weitzel, Jr. and Gary P. Weitzel and sister Audrey (Wietzel) Ash.  Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 N. 9th St., Reading is in charge of arrangements.
