Robert V. Engler, Jr., 73, of Muhlenberg Twp., passed away August 12, 2015 in Manor Care, Laureldale.
He was the husband of Patricia G. (Eisenhart) Engler, who passed away in May 2012.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late Robert V. Engler, Sr. and Dorothy (Young) Lerch.
Robert was self-employed of his own carpentry business for over 50 years.
Survivors include children Robert D. Engler, Reading; Sheila C. wife of Joe Keiper, Topton; Gwen S. Engler, wife of Terry Imschweiler, Shillington. There are two grandchildren Heidi Keiper and Jeremy Deck. Other survivors are step mother Mary Engler; two sisters Sandra Hoffman, Altoona, PA; Barbara Schlegel, Reading and seven half brothers and sisters.
Services will be held in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 North 9th Street, Reading, Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at 11:00am, Rev. Carl Hoffman officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. The family will receive relatives and friends 10:00- 11:00am.
