Robert E. Sandman, 72, died of natural causes Feb. 19 at 5:13 a.m. in his residence in Flying Hills.
He was the husband of Arlene S. (Balatgek) Sandman.
Sandman was born in Chicago.
He was employed for 15 years as a security guard by Security Guards Inc., Wyomissing, last working in 2003.
Sandman was an Army veteran.
He is also survived by a stepdaughter, Christine L. (Haas) Williams, Exeter Township; and a stepson, Kevin R. Haas, Norristown.
Other survivors include five stepgrandchildren.
He was predeceased by a stepson, Brion W. Haas, in 1984.
Burial will be private in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
