Ronald G. Milligan, 66, of Pottstown, passed away peacefully in his residence on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. He was the loving life partner of Michelle A. DuPrey. They shared 16 years together.
Born in Philadelphia, on June 14, 1959, he was the son of the late John and Ruth (Graham) Milligan. Ronald served in the United States Army. During his life he worked as a master electrician for many years.
Ron was an avid fisherman and a man who cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren. Exceptionally educated and deeply knowledgeable about world history, he could turn any conversation into an opportunity to share something fascinating. Ronald lit up every room he entered, always ready with a joke, a warm smile, or a story that brought people together. His gift for storytelling, especially tales, made him the kind of person others naturally gravitated toward. He lived with curiosity, humor, and heart, and those who knew him will forever remember the joy and laughter he brought into their lives.
Ronald is survived by his companion Michelle A. DuPrey of Pottstown; children, Kyle R. Milligan, of Philadelphia; Brynn A. Milligan, of Philadelphia; Shane K. Milligan; bonus son Brett (Laura) A. Armfield of Waterloo, IA; 5 grandchildren, Gabriela, Chase, Alana, Willow, Mayzie; brother, Thomas (Sara) O. Milligan, of Newfield, NJ; and Charlie, his furry companion of 12 years.
He was predeceased by his brothers John and Bruce Milligan.
