Ruth M. Bertolet

Ruth M. Bertolet, 95, formerly of Reiffton, passed away Friday, October 20, 2023 at 6:15 am at Reading Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Harry J. Bertolet who passed away on July 29, 2003 after being happily married for 58 years.  Born in Prospect Park, Mrs. Bertolet was the daughter of the late Morton B. and Annetta M. (West) Wolfe.  She was a member of Pennside Presbyterian Church.  Mrs. Bertolet is survived by her daughters Vicki B. Rick wife of John W. Rick of Wyomissing; Linda L. Derr companion of Darryl K. Roth of Exeter Township; her 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson.  She was preceded in death by her son Gary K. Bertolet, Sr. husband of Lois Bertolet of Cumru Township and her 2 grandsons Gary K. Bertolet, Jr. and Glenn D. Bertolet. 

Memorial Service will be held at Pennside Presbyterian Church 253 North 25^th Street, Mount Penn, Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 12:00 pm.  Reverend David J. Duquette will officiate.  Interment will be held at the convenience of the family at Forest Hills Memorial Park.  The family will receive relatives and friends at Pennside Presbyterian Church Saturday from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Pennside Presbyterian Church PO Box 4213, Reading, PA 19606 in memory of Mrs. Ruth M.
