Ruth Ann Brendel, 70, a resident of Berks Heim, Leesport, PA, passed away October 22, 2013. Born in Wernersville, Miss Brendel was the daughter of Charles Garion Brendel and Helen (Weinhold) Brendel. Survivors include 3 brothers and 3 sisters: John R. Brendel, husband of Helen (Dangler) Brendel of Pottstown; Charles J. Brendel, husband of Nancy (Mentzer) Brendel of Robesonia; Arthur W. Brendel, husband of Joann (Berger) Brendel of West Lawn; Kathryn M. Brendel of Shillington; Linda L. (Brendel) Roth of Shillington; Nancy S. (Brendel) Morey, wife of Irvin Morey of Oley. Miss Brendel was predeceased by her brother Wister G. Brendel and 3 sisters, Janet (Brendel) Miller, Marie (Brendel) Pauley, and Margery (Brendel) Ritter.

Honoring the life of Ruth, a graveside service will be held Monday, October 28th at 2:00pm at the Muddy Creek Cemetery, 11 South Muddy Creek Road, Denver, PA 17517.
