Samuel Seifrit

Samuel W. Seifrit, 77, of Alsace Township, passed away January 16, 2011 at 8:46 am in St. Joseph Medical Center. He was the husband of Irene K.(Miller) to whom they were married for 58 years. Born in Stonetown, PA he was the son of the late Walter and Alice(Price) Seifrit. Mr. Seifrit was the owner of Sam's Construction for many years. He was an Army Air Corp veteran of World War II. In addition to his wife he is survived by daughters Sharon R. Seifrit at home, Katherine M. Machemer at home, son William W. Seifrit of Tuckerton, 5 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his son Robert S. Seifrit and grandson Donald Machemer. Services from Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 North 9th Street Reading Friday at 1:00 pm. Rev. Larry D. Carl officiating. Interment Berks County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday 12-1:00 pm.
