Shirley Demopulos

Shirley N. Demopulos, 83, of Reading, passed away Saturday, August 24, 2019 in Penn State Health-St. Joseph Hospital. Born in Reading, Ms. Demopulos was the daughter of the late George and Vera (Einsel) Demopulos. She worked at the Lunch Counter at Walmart for 2 years. Ms. Demopulos is survived by her children; Lisa A. (Blankenbiller) Yerger of Reading, Cheryl N. (Kummerer) Hoffmann of Wyomissing, Donald A. Kummerer, Jr. of Leesport, George C. Kummerer of Sparks, Nevada, 2 step children Ricky Blankenbiller of Tampa, Florida, Ryan Blankenbiller of Georgia, 6 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her sister Constance (Demopulos) Aulenbach. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
