Stanley R. Geist, 71, formerly of Reading, died Feb. 25 at 4:50 a.m. in Prospect Park Health & Rehabilitation Residence, Prospect Park, Delaware County, where he had been a resident since July 20, 2004.
He was the husband of Ethel E. (Himmelberger) Geist.
Born in Reading, he was a son of the late Milton J. and Ruth E. Geist.
Geist had been employed for 27 years as a janitor by Dana Corp., Reading, retiring in 1990.
He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Reading.
Geist was an Army veteran.
He is also survived by a daughter, Denise L. Geist, and a son, David S., both of Reading.
Other survivors include a sister, Doris (Geist) Williams, Birdsboro, and a grandson.
Services will be Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home Inc. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Park, Reiffton.
