Stephen Kocis, Jr

Stephen M. Kocis, Jr., 81, of Richmond Twp., passed away October 14, 2011 at 9:40 PM in his residence. He was the husband of Pamela K. (Kennedy) Kocis. Born in Emmaus on August 9, 1930, he was the son of the late Stephen M. Kocis, Sr. and the late Helen E. (Silnik) Kocis. Stephen was a 1948 graduate of Emmaus High School and served in the US Airforce during the Korean Conflict. He was employed as a supervisor at Mack Trucks and he loved to golf. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son Stephen M. Kocis, III, husband of Theresa A. Kocis of Dacula, GA; two daughters Linda M. (Kocis) wife of Michael Bielz of Castle Rock, CO and Audrey D. (Kocis) wife of Richard Heller of Macungie, 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and a sister Delphine (Kocis) wife of Dorsey Reichard of Surprise, AZ. Friends and relatives will be received Wednesday 10:00 to 11:00 AM in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 N. 9th Street, Reading. Interment will be in Georgia National Cemetery, Canton, GA.
