Stepthen Kreider

Stepthen R. Kreider 65, of Sinking Spring, passed away on Friday December 2, 2016 in Penn State Health-St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born in Reading, PA. He was proceeded in death by his father Lester R Kreider and a brother Michael L. Kreider. He survived by his mother Ethel Y Kreider of Sinking Spring, his son Ty A. Kline of Newport Beach, his former wife and friend Bonnie Kline of Allentown, his brother Alan S Kreider husband of Valerie of Sinking Spring and his sister-in-law Joy Kreider of Sinking Spring, as well as several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his faithful dog Hap. Stephen was a 1969 graduate of Wilson High School. While at Wilson High School, he was a member of the Bulldogs first undefeated football team in 1967 and received the Berks County Lineman of the Year award that year. Stephen was inducted into the Wilson Hall of Fame in 1994. He was employed by over the years by Gotwals Trucking, Oley, V&J Derstine, Hartfield, and C.W. Pletz Trucking in Glenside. He was also one of the founders of the family owned business Streamside Farms Inc. and also owner of Steve Kreider Trucking. He was most recently a partner with his brothers in the development of the Reedy Estates gated community in Sinking Spring.

Stephen will be sorrowfully missed by his family and many friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Penn State Health- St. Joseph's Hospital for their care, support and compassion given to Stephen during his stay. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
