Susan E. (Kissinger) Sterner, 57, Reading, died Dec. 31, 2007, at 11:10 a.m. in St. Joseph Medical Center, where she was a patient for three days. Born Nov. 28, 1950, in Reading, she was a daughter of Angela (McMahon) Kissinger, Reading; and the late Floyd A. Kissinger.
She was a 1968 graduate of Reading High School.
She was a member of St. PeterA�a�a��s Roman Catholic Church, Reading.
She is survived by a son, Matthew A. Sterner, Reading; and a daughter, Angela M. (Sterner) Diaz, Reading.
Other survivors include two sisters, Jacquelyn M. (Kissinger) Neider, Reading; and Kathleen A. (Kissinger) Rostek, Reading; and a brother, Michael T. Kissinger, St. Lawrence.
There also are three grandchildren: Juan, Wilkin and Jessenia; and nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be Monday at 1 p.m. in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 N. Ninth St., Reading, with the Rev. Thomas J. Orsulak officiating. Friends will be received Monday from noon to 1 p.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 498 Bellevue Ave., Reading, PA 19604. Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Reading, is in charge of arrangements. Online condolences may be made at www.whelanschwartz.com.
