Terry Franklin King, 67, of Temple, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2026, at St. Francis Home, Shillington. Affectionately known as “Mose,” he was surrounded by his loving family and then he was called home to be with his wife, Michele Eileen King, who passed away on April 8th, 2020.
He was the son of Franklin Mason King and Martha Jane Bragg, both deceased. Terry is survived by his sons Robert E. Lee King, husband of Jessica; Jason F. He was the proud “Papaw/Pap” of 12 grandchildren including CaraMia & Cecelia (Lee), Crimson, Scarlett & Silas (Jason), Dominic, Delaney & Daxon (Dylan), and Brianna, Jayden & Alexa (Lisa). Terry was predeceased by 1 grandchild, Josiah Franklin King. Terry is also survived by his brother, Marvin King, and several sisters.
Terry worked as a master plumber, electrician and welder holding various roles throughout Berks County and his home state of West Virginia. His last position was as the Maintenance Supervisor at Woodgate Apartments in Exeter, PA. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his children, grandchildren and riding his motorcycle.
Upon his request, there will be no memorial services. Terry’s ashes will be joined with those of his loving wife and they will spread in West Virginia (his favorite place) and at the beach (her favorite place).
