Thomas Evans, Sr

Thomas Edward Evans, Sr., 74, of Exeter Twp., passed away March 16, 2013 in his residence. He was born in Reading on December 20, 1938 a son of the late Rufus A. and Hazel J. (Van Kirk) Evans. Thomas served in the US Army during peacetime and was employed as a dough mixer at Mrs. Smith's Pies for 28 years retiring in 1996. He is survived by two sons Jeffrey Scott Evans of Reading and Thomas Edward Evans, Jr. of Birdsboro; a brother Robert C. Evans of Birdsboro; a brother George A. Evans of Edgewater, MD; a brother Richard A. Evans of Reading; a sister Elizabeth M. (Evans) Fernandez of Birdsboro; a sister Janet M. (Evans) Fritz of Birdsboro and a brother James M. Evans of San Diego, CA. He was predeceased by a brother Charles W. Evans.
