Warren Thomas

Warren N. Thomas, 88, of Reading, passed away Friday, October 30, 2015 at 3:40 pm in Reading Hospital. He was the husband of Etrula H. (Hughes) Thomas. Born in Port Carbon, PA, he was the son of the late Warren N. and Catherine (Colasimo) Thomas. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah Witness in West Lawn and served in the United States Navy during World War II. He retired from NEAPCO in Pottstown in the shipping department. In addition to his wife, Mr. Thomas is survived by his Biological daughter Leigh Ann (Thomas) McIntosh of Reading and raised 5 step children as his own Marlene E. ( Anderson ) Bosco, wife of the late Anthony Bosco of Reading, Bennie A. Sims, III of Wyomissing, Victor C. Sims of Reading and Keith J. Sims of Fleetwood and was preceded in death by his step son Herbert H. Anderson, June 23, 2006. He is also survived his grandchildren Gregory, Erika, Stephanie, Paul, Alicia, Annette, David, Dorian, Cierra and Chantley and his 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Also surviving are his siblings Robert Thomas of Reading and Roy Thomas of Schuylkill Haven and was preceded in death by his sister Ella Oldt, July of 2015. Mr. Thomas was a comedian, baker and a craftsman who enjoyed woodworking, creating ducks, canes and furniture.
