Wilfredo Diaz Sr

Wilfredo Diaz Sr. 66, of Reading passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019. Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Julio and Luisa (Vasquez) Diaz. Mr. Diaz worked for Rachlin Furniture, operating in manufacturing and the textiles department for 15 years. He enjoyed music, especially playing the guitar and spending time with his friends and family. Wilfredo was an avid cook and loved working on cars throughout his life.
Mr. Diaz is survived by his children Eric Diaz of Shoemakersville; Carmen Diaz, wife of Jose Hernandez of Reading; Wilfredo Diaz Jr. of Shillington. He is also survived by his grandchildren Jahida, Christian, Viviana, Jeremiah, Suhadie and his 4 Great Grandchildren. Wilfredo also had 17 brothers and sisters, 4 whom had predeceased him.
Prayer service will be held in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 North 9th St, Reading, Friday September 6, 2019 at 12:30pm. Internment will follow in Gethsemane cemetery.
