Winfield Focht

November 9, 1931 — March 8, 2014

Winfield D. "Whitey" Focht, 82, of Muhlenberg Township, passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014 at 5:35 pm in his home. He was the husband of Shirley A. (Bossler) Focht. Born n Brownsville, PA he was the son of the late Richard and Lillie (Koch) Focht. He was a truck driver for 43 years retiring in 1993 from ABF Trucking in Reading. He was an avid Philadelphia Phillies Fan and enjoyed gardening and listening to country music. He served in the United States Army. In addition to his wife, Mr. Focht is survived by his daughters Sandra L. Magaro of Laureldale, Loretta M. Moyer wife of Gene Moyer, Sr. of Laporte, PA and Peggy A. Focht of Reading. Also surviving are his grandchildren Brianna K. Dugan, Gene Moyer, Jr. husband of Angela Moyer, Krystal Hummel, Heidi Odemer and Andreas Odemer and his great grandchildren Harmoni and Autumn Moyer. Mr. Focht is survived by his brother Russell Focht husband of Doris Focht of Laureldale and his sisters Betty Faust of Reading and Janie Weidner wife of David Weidner of Reading. He was preceded in death by his son Winfield D. Focht, Jr. along with his siblings Willard, William, Stanley, Mary, Edwin, Fern and Ralph Focht and Barbara Weidner.

Cemetery:
Interment will be held privately by the family.
