Barbara Kies

Barbara D. Kies, 80, formerly of Reading, passed away Friday, December 17, 2021 at 2:00 am at Schuylkill Center, Pottsville.  She was the wife of the late Robert Kies.  Born in Buffalo, New York, Mrs. Kies was the daughter of the late George and Margaret (Chapman) Robison.  She was an accountant for Lehigh County Housing Authority in Emmaus for 26 years retiring in 2008.  Mrs. Kies is survived by her son Alan McClure of Schuylkill Haven; Hagibh Robertson of Sinking Spring; 15 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her step-daughters Barbara Dorney of Emmaus and Donna Wells of Orlando, Florida and her step-son Robert Kies of Mahanoy City.  Mrs. Kies was preceded in death by her daughter Eva Robertson, brother Gerry Dennis Robison of Orwigsburg and her sister Carol Ann McCloskey of Minersville.
