Charles Weinhold, Jr.

Charles Earl Weinhold, Jr., 93, of Shillington, passed away Monday, December 30, 2019 at 2:58 pm in his residence.  He was the husband of the late Alice Marie (Wert) Weinhold who passed away May 14, 2017.  Born in Reading, Mr. Weinhold was the son of the late Charles Earl Weinhold, Sr. and Minnie (Love).  He was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Shillington and served in the United States Navy during World War II.  Mr. Weinhold was a mechanical designer for Sanders & Thomas in Pottstown for 39 years.  He is survived by his daughters Rhonda E. Pawling, wife of Gary G. Pawling of Robesonia; Andrea K. Scherzberg, wife of Karl A. Scherzberg of Coopersburg; Deborah M. Scherzberg, wife of Eric H. Scherzberg of Coopersburg and his 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  He is also survived by his half-sister Karen Focht, wife of Gordon Focht of Kenhorst.
