Diane Brown, 76, passed away on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at the Reading Hospital. She was the beloved wife of Earl C. Brown Sr.. Born in Reading, she was the daughter of Preston Hancock Sr. and Helen (Guthrick). Diane was a Reading High School graduate. During her life, she was a Nursing Assistant for ManorCare Laureldale until retirement.  She was an avid member at St. James Chapel Church of God in Christ, in Reading. Diane was a beloved wife, mother, aunt and friend and she will be truly missed.

In addition to her husband Earl C. Brown Sr., she is survived by her sons, Jamiee Brown, of Reading; Earl C. Brown Jr., of Reading; brother, Preston Hancock Jr., of Reading; sister, Ruth Dozier; and niece Tiffany Hancock, of Reading.

Diane was predeceased by brothers, Robert, Chester, Richard Hancock and sisters, Mary Billups, Jane Fains, Drucilla Hancock, and Linda Allen.

Funeral Service will be at Bean Funeral Homes, 1605 Rockland Street, Reading, PA 19605, on December 28, 2020 at 10:00am. Reverend Frank McCracken will officiate. Interment will follow at Charles Evans Cemetery. The family will receive family and friends from 9:00am-10:00am. Online condolences may be made to www.whelanschwartz.com
