John "Bud" Coyle

John “Bud” W. Coyle, 95, formerly of Northeast Reading and Green Hills Manor, passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 in ProMedica Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation (Sinking Spring).  Born in Reading, he was the eldest son of the late Emma (Fullmer) and Joseph D. Coyle.  He was the loving husband to Catherine C. (Zielinski) Coyle, who passed April 15, 2007.  Bud proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II.  He worked as a Sheet Metal Mechanic for Reading Aviation Services for 25 years and for Bachman Pretzels.  Bud liked to camp with his family at Hickory Run in the Poconos, archery hunting, and watching his beloved Boston Red Sox.

Bud is survived by his children, Timothy, partner of Debra of Sinking Spring and Sharon, of Fort Pierce, FL.  In addition to his wife, Catherine, Bud is preceded in death by his son, Thomas, his son-in-law, David, and his brothers, Joe, Bob, and Jim.

A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 11:00am in Berks County Memorial Garden, 201 Evansville Road, Fleetwood, PA 19522.  Military Honors to be rendered by the United States Navy.  Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be made at www.whelanschwartz.com.
