Larry Galloway

Larry Richard Galloway, 72, of Lower Alsace, passed away on September 9, 2020.  Born of Kane, PA, he was the son of the late Edgar and Betty Irene (Pond) Galloway.  Larry was the husband of Masako A. (Asato) Galloway, together they shared 47 years of marriage.  He graduated from Exeter High School then served his country in the United States Air Force.  Larry worked as a Steam Fitter/Pipe Fitter for 420 Steam Fitter for 23 years before retiring.  He enjoyed making RC model airplanes, ships, making leather goods, tinkering with cars, and spending time with his family.  Larry would build model RC planes and then fly them in Adamstown, PA which was one of his favorite pastimes.

In addition to his wife, Masako, Larry is survived by his children, Nina F. Galloway, of Shillington and Bryan R. Galloway, of Lower Alsace, his grandchildren, Zoey and Olivia, his sister, Diane V. Hafer, his aunt Neva Pond, and cousin Brenda Essig.

Interment with Military Honors rendered by the United States Air Force Honor Guard will be held at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.  Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and online condolences may be made at www.whelanschwartz.com.
