Lisa M. Ekvall (Reyell), 54, of Reading, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021 at The Reading Hospital. Lisa was the loving wife to Carl S. Ekvall Sr. for over 33 years of marriage. Born in Winsted Connecticut, she was the daughter of the late, Irving Reyell Sr., and her mother, Mary (Agnew) who still resides in Winsted, CT. Lisa worked as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant for over 20 years, most recently at Affordable Dental Solutions. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking and baking for her weekly family gatherings, traveling and camping, doing puzzles with her husband, visiting and epic party's with friends and family, all the simple things like comfortable pajamas and slippers.

In addition to her mother and husband, Lisa is survived by her children, Carl S. Ekvall Jr., husband of Sarah, of Robesonia, Nile Irving Ekvall, husband of Krissi, of Reading, and Michael A. Ekvall, fiance to Sarah, of Reading. She also survived by her grandchildren, whom she loved so dearly, Alexander, Nikolas, Elliot, and Sabrina. Lisa is also survived by her brother, Irving Reyell Jr. of Winsted, CT.

A Celebration of Lisa’s Life will be held on Saturday, October 9th, 2021 at 1:00 PM at, 250 Center Hill Rd. Barkhamsted, CT 06063. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Lisa’s honor to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Online condolences may be made at www.whelanschwartz.com
