Nancy Gilliams

Nancy F. Gilliams passed at Berks Heim on the 8th of December, 2021. Born in Reading she was the daughter of the late Otto and Frida (Pfleiderer) Semle. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Richard G. Gilliams. Also surviving is her daughter, Diana (Gilliams) Lins, son Michael J. Gilliams, 3 grandchildren Jeremy Lins, Seth Lins and Megan Morgan, and 1 great grandchild Diana Morgan.

Nancy loved to do puzzles, play games, read mystery novels but the most important part of her life was her family. She also played the piano and sang in the church choir.

Visitation will be held at Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 N. 9th Street. Reading, Wednesday December 15, 2021 from 10:30 am to 11:45 am, with the funeral service to follow at 12:00 pm Reverend William B. Fryer officiating.  Interment will follow at Forrest Hills Memorial Park.
