Richard Blankenbiller

Richard I. Blankenbiller, 74, of Lower Alsace Township, passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 4:43 pm in Penn State Health-St. Joseph Hospital.  He was the husband of Patricia H. (Enzmann) Blankenbiller.  Born in West Reading, Mr. Blankenbiller was the son of the late Clarence and Margaret (Reardan) Blankenbiller.  He served in the United States Army and was an operator at SFS Intec in Reading for 20 years retiring in 2012.  In addition to his wife Mr. Blankenbiller is survived by his children Ryan Blankenbiller of Statesboro, Georgia; Lisa Yerger of Reading PA; Janelle Lehman of Fruitland, Maryland; Jessica Freymoyer of Tremont PA.  And his 11 grandchildren.  He is also survived by his sisters Margaret Reber of Wyomissing and Geri Croley of Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Mr. Blankenbiller was preceded in death by his son Rick Blankenbiller.
