William Quiles-Vilella

William Quiles-Vilella, 75, of Reading, passed away early July 9, 2020 surrounded by his loving family in his residence.  Born in Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Valerio Quiles and Guillermina Vilella and a brother to 13 siblings.  He was the husband of Mildred (Solano) Quiles, with whom he shared 30 years of marriage.  William worked as a landscaper for Heisler Company for many years before retiring.  He loved to go fishing and crabbing but, most of all he cherished every second he spent with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife Mildred, William is survived by his children; Alejandro Quiles, Genie Solano, Juan Solano, Tomas Solano, husband of Julia, Maco Adame, husband of Yenipza, his 19 grandchildren, and his 2 great grandchildren.

Funeral Service will be celebrated in Whelan Schwartz Funeral Home, 444 N. 9th Street, Reading, on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at 4:00 pm, Pastor Miguel Ramos to officiate.  The family will receive friends and relatives on Tuesday, July 14, 2020 from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm.  Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.  Online condolences may be made at www.whelanschwartz.com.
